How do I change the display from Landscape to Portrait?

On the channel player you will need to make the following Windows modifications -

    • In Windows access the Control Panel
    • Go to display properties
    • Click on the Setting Tab, click on the monitor you will be rotating
    • Click on the Advanced button

NOTE:  The adapter may be different depending on the graphic cards installed in your system (ex. nVidia, ATI, Matrox, etc.)

    • Select the video card tab (usually marked by the manufacturer's icon)
    • Locate the Rotation option, tab or button and rotate the display 90 or 270 degrees for portrait mode as needed.
    • Click OK, until you return to the Display properties Setting tab.
    • Now under Screen resolution, move the slider to the desired resolution.

In AxisTV you will need to make the following changes

    • Go to Configure|Channel Player.
    • Select the player, and modify the Player Resolution, to the same resolution as the player has been set to.
    • Modify the content blocks accordingly
    • Then ensure that users select the correct aspect ratio during certain bulletin creations to ensure the content follows the correct orientation.

    Sid,

Thanks for posting this.  We did it once in test months ago as a proof of concept but of course didn't write down what we did.  Having the steps documented is very helpful.
